Stepping around!

Today, I took six steps! Yesterday, five. Mommy was so excited to see me do it. I like doing things that make mommy, daddy and bubba smile. Walking isn’t real easy yet, but I think I am finally getting the hang of it. Can’t wait to show daddy, he will think its great, too. I have enough fun with him watching his face every time I yell in my really high pitched voice. I should stop that, but I don’t know how else to talk yet, and I sure get everyone’s attention! I do love attention. But I should be in bed. Please don’t tell mommy and daddy I was up this late, they will use their high pitch screech at me!

My First Birthday

I finally turned one year old on Friday! Mommy and daddy say it is really special for me to turn one. All I know is I got a lot of really neat presents. I have more toys than I know what to do with! Mommy thinks maybe I will stay out of her cupboards, but I will show her! I also got some really pretty clothes to wear, books to read, a star named after me and even a movie to watch. Daddy says I am spoiled… call it what you want, I think it’s great! Having Christmas and my birthday all in the last few weeks has been great! Too bad I have so long to wait until I get more presents. Oh well, these will keep me busy for quite awhile. Plus I know if I bat my big blues at daddy, I can get more. Thank you to all my family and friends who got me stuff and came to eat cake with me. I really loved my princess birthday cake, both the big one and the little one that I got to eat and play with all by myself. Sorry, daddy, for getting frosting all over you!
